Sales Representative — Hopkinton, MA
Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue for EchoStor in their assigned accounts and territories.
- Work with partners to ensure the successful marketing of EchoStor solutions.
- Identifies potential sales opportunities
- Builds rapport and educate customer on EchoStor’s product offerings
- Prospecting and qualifying potential accounts via telephone
- Make outbound calls daily and participate in lead generation campaigns
- Tracking opportunities and forecasted deals via CRM package
Skills:
- Telephone –open conversations and close deals
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated team player
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn new things and grow within the organization
Experience and Education:
- Experience selling data storage products is a plus but not necessary
- Proven selling skills with the ability to manage multiple sales campaigns
Field Systems Engineer — Hopkinton, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provides pre-sales technical support to EchoStor Sales Reps and customers covering all of the company’s products.
- Work with Sales in to formulate account strategies.
- Makes pre-sales calls on prospective clients, participates in local and regional seminars, and acts as the technical liaison for existing customers.
- Becomes focal point for customer evaluations and demos
- Expected to stay abreast of current industry technology, trends, and competition.
- Spends a considerable amount of time talking in front of customers in small (round table) discussions as well as large (seminar) audiences.
- Assists Sales in fulfilling in responding to RFI/RFPs.
- Becomes focal point in case of a technical post-sales escalation for current customers. Some travel will be required.
- Should be self-motivated, able to work well with multiple sales reps, and be creative in obtaining information and solving problems.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Technically sound on EchoStor products and deliver technical presentation to a wide array of audiences with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
- Able to transfer knowledge to inexperienced customers and sales representatives
- Desire to learn new technologies and enjoy doing “hands-on” work with EchoStor Solutions and other relevant technologies.
- Strong inter-personal skills, high energy, flexible self motivated, trustworthy, friendly and dependable and has excellent follow through skills.
Experience and Education:
- 3 + years of industry experience
- Experience with various operating systems including LINUX, UNIX (AIX, SUN) and Windows.
- Understanding of storage protocols such as NFS, CiFS, FCP & iSCSI a plus.
- Working knowledge of SAN, NAS, and Backup architectures
- Experience with Veritas, BakBone, Oracle, Exchange, SQL, a plus
- BS/BA in CS highly desired but not necessary
Responsibilities:
- Manufactures, integrates and performs product testing for Echo Series product line
- Provides post-sales technical support to customers.
- Performs installations, preventative and necessary maintenance.
- Utilize internal CRM applications to log and track customer Cases and Tickets
Skills:
- Technical working knowledge of EchoStor products

Experience and Education:
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude

- Working knowledge of SAN, NAS, and Backup architectures a plus
- Experience with Veritas, BakBone, Oracle, Exchange, SQL, a plus
- High School Diploma
Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day Accounting activities-AP/AR/Invoicing /PO processing
- Participate in the month end close process
- Prepare and process journal entries to QuickBooks
- Analyze monthly ledger activities and prepare reconciliations for various accounts
- Identify and resolve reconciliation variances or issues in a timely manner
- Support the external audit of EchoStor's financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis
- Perform special projects as needed.
