EqualLogic® Auto-Snapshot Manager for Windows allows administrators to safely snapshot and restore Microsoft® Exchange® 2003 and Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 deployments running on Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 Enterprise and Datacenter editions.

Auto-Snapshot Manager integrates with Microsoft's Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) to provide application consistent snapshots that leverage the performance and flexibility of the EqualLogic PS Series space-efficient snapshot functionality.

With Auto-Snapshot Manager, administrators can create, schedule, and restore from snapshots. In addition, Auto-Snapshot Manager integrates with leading 3rd party backup software, allowing for application consistent snapshot-to-tape backups.

EqualLogic® Multi-path I/O provides high availability and performance load balancing across multiple network ports (HBAs and/or NICs) for Microsoft® Windows® Server 2000 and Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 platforms.

The EqualLogic multi-path architecture removes all single points of failure from the network to the storage, and can be deployed easily and cost-effectively by leveraging the economics of Ethernet. Best of all, EqualLogic does not charge additional host-licenses for the multi-path software. Therefore, the cost to upgrade a server to highly available is only the cost of an additional Ethernet path.
